Venice has a rich collection of historic architecture wrapped in fascinating tales of its historic past. Want to learn more?

There is still time to enjoy “Experience Venice! A History and Architecture Walking Tour.” Join architectural historian Sebastian Liseo in his 21st year conducting tours.

The 90-minute tour highlights Venice’s early movers and shakers. Learn about the architectural features of the grand homes and 1920s buildings that make downtown so charming. This year’s tour includes a spotlight on Native Americans.

Tours are available Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 13. The tour begins and ends at the gazebo in Centennial Park, 200 W. Venice Ave.

No walk-ups permitted. Space is limited and registration is required 24 hours in advance via email to venicemuseum@ venicefl.gov or call 941-486-2487. Provide tour date and names of participants. Confirmations will be sent via return email. Admission of $25 exact cash is payable on the day of the tour.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Venice Museum.
